Jingye Medium Plate Successfully Completes First Delivery of Turkish Lloyd-Classed Order

Recently, Jingye Medium Plate successfully completed the delivery of its first export order for marine plates classified by Turkish Lloyd, marking a major breakthrough in the high-end Turkish shipping market and a new milestone in the company’s overseas business.

The order totaled 5,018 tonnes, with plate thicknesses ranging from 6 mm to 50 mm, and covered two grades: TL‑A and TL‑A 36. As the company’s first order undertaken under Turkish Lloyd classification, the project faced considerable challenges. First, this was Jingye’s initial collaboration with Turkish Lloyd, meaning existing standardized inspection procedures and compliance frameworks could not be directly applied – additional qualification alignment and process validation were required. Second, there was no established cooperation model or inspection process to draw on; every step from scratch had to be defined and aligned, covering the full sequence of inspection and verification requirements. Third, the Turkish marine market is known for its stringent quality control systems, which placed high demands on the stability of Jingye’s production processes and the precision of its quality management.

To ensure smooth fulfillment of the order, the Medium Plate Technology Center worked closely with the sales team, as well as with the shipyard and Turkish Lloyd, to conduct multiple rounds of discussions. Together they defined a “batch-by-batch, single-inspection” ship inspection model, clarified technical and inspection standards, and developed a customized production plan that integrated local regulations with actual shop-floor conditions. During production, end-to-end process control was implemented, with strict quality checks at every stage. As a result, all product performance indicators met the required standards, and the entire order was delivered three days ahead of schedule.

The successful completion of this first order represents a significant milestone in Jingye Medium Plate’s integration into international markets, fully demonstrating its strong capabilities in technical problem-solving, quality control, and on-time delivery. Moving forward, the company will continue to optimize its production processes, expand overseas customer networks, stay close to customer needs, and align with international material standards – working hand in hand with customers for mutual benefit and shared success.
