Jingye Iron and Steel focuses on the application of energy-saving technologies, continuously reducing the energy consumption level of each process, forming five economic cycles of gas, steam, slag, industrial water, dust removal and recycling, constructing an intelligent control system, and using Internet of Things, big data and intelligence to implement 24-hour comprehensive and no dead corner grid control of the enterprise's environmental management. It has successfully been rated as an "A-level environmental performance enterprise" and an "ESG evaluation AAA level steel enterprise"

 

In order to actively respond to the global carbon peak and carbon neutrality strategy deployment, the "Dedicated Steel Carbon Peak and Low Carbon Development Action Plan" has been formulated, which has successfully passed the EATNS carbon management system evaluation. The full life cycle evaluation has also been carried out on 13 products, and the carbon footprint data of each product is better than the industry average. The emissions of particulate matter, nitrogen oxides, and sulfur dioxide per ton of products have reached the advanced level of clean production in China.


Jingye invested 4.55 billion yuan to build a dedicated railway line, reducing the annual traffic of about 1.3 million heavy trucks in Pingshan County, reducing 400000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions, and introducing new energy transportation vehicles to build a green and low-carbon logistics system.
