Recently, the Intelligent Information Department of Jingye Steel, responding to the company’s smart manufacturing upgrade strategy, successfully completed the independent development of a dynamic steel coil information monitoring system based on industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) technologies.

After multiple rounds of technical breakthroughs, the project team built an innovative and practical intelligent monitoring solution with three core objectives: end-to-end data integration, visualized monitoring, and predictive risk management. The system is deeply integrated with the Zhongguan production data platform, forming a dual engine of real-time data acquisition and intelligent analysis.

High-precision sensors and intelligent terminals are deployed at key production line nodes to comprehensively capture smelting and rolling parameters, providing solid data support for risk early warning. This enables full-process data connectivity from the coil production line to the final finishing and inspection stages, effectively eliminating data silos.

In addition, modular LED digital dashboards have been installed in quality inspection areas, displaying critical information such as coil batch number, steel grade, specifications, and inspection status in real time with millisecond-level synchronization. Management personnel can monitor and control operations remotely through multiple terminals.

The implementation of this system achieves full data traceability across the entire steel coil production and inspection process. Through real-time monitoring and intelligent early warning, it significantly enhances product quality management and injects strong momentum into the company’s high-quality development. At the same time, it provides a valuable reference for industry peers in addressing information traceability challenges and improving production intelligence, supporting the steel industry’s transformation toward efficient, precise, and green intelligent manufacturing.
