BRITISH STEEL products to participate in the construction of leicester City team's new training ground

Leicester City will kick off the new season with a new £100m training ground. The state-of-the-art training facility is expected to be operational before the start of pre-season training, which begins in mid-September. Jingying steel products to participate in the construction of the new training ground. 450 tonnes of steel from Teesside steel has been delivered to the 185-acre development near Seagrave A46 road.The project, led by construction specialist Mclaren, consists of 11 full-size outdoor courts, eight smaller courts, five training grids and two gatekeeping areas. Indoor amenities include 35 bedrooms, a spa pool, rehabilitation facilities, a dining area for the College and First Line, as well as administrative offices and a media center. Next to the main building is a full-size indoor artificial lawn. Steel structure specialist BHC makes and installs the structure. Ben Cunliffe, commercial director of Steel UK, said: "Our steel structures have been certified to a high standard and are a prime choice for stadiums, tall buildings and construction projects that require strength and resilience. "We are proud to be working with steel structure specialist BHC at this impressive Leicester City Football Club training facility." Leicester are currently fifth in the Premier League and qualify for next season's Europa League. "BHC is proud to have been selected by Mclaren to manufacture and install steel structures for such an exciting project," said Patrick Crankens, BHC project Manager.
